Career snapshot/ specialty areas: Tom brings the MT&L clients the advantage of his more than 15 years of experience overseeing all phases of his clients’ tax planning and preparation, financial planning and business consulting engagements. Tom works with a diverse group of clients, which includes real estate, private equity, and family-owned businesses. He provides individual, hands-on support to keep clients up-to-date on the ever-changing tax laws and help them to understand their business and achieve their goals. Clients often reach out to Tom to provide transactional planning ahead of significant events to maximize value and reduce any associated risk.  With the family owned businesses he tends to be more involved with long-term estate and overall succession planning.

Leadership role at MTL: Along with assisting the firm’s clients Tom also takes ample time to act as a mentor to the firm’s new employees.

Education: He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Professional associations/certifications: Tom holds a CPA license in the state of New Jersey.

Professional affiliations: He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Personal interests: As the father of three small children ages 6, 4 and 2, Tom, who loves sports, spends most of his free time doing things around town with them, such as bike rides, participating in sports, and staying as active as possible.  He has also stayed involved with his college football program (Muhlenberg) where he served as captain in 2006.
