Brief Snapshot and Areas of Expertise: Michael Lewis has never considered himself to be a typical CPA, as he has always put his role as a business consultant ahead of his role as his clients’ accountant. By doing so Michael has proven to be an exceptional problem solver, keenly embracing his position as a “trusted advisor.” Today he is recognized as a professional who provides a distinctive combination of guidance and financial advice on business and personal issues alike for every client he serves. Over the years Michael has gained a well-deserved reputation for offering solutions to a wide variety of challenges, ranging from traditional business and financial concerns to evaluating investment opportunities and seeking ideas that preserve family wealth. As a result, Michael has formed deep and meaningful relationships with the firm’s clients, many of whom have become close personal friends.

Leadership Role: As Co-Managing Partners, Michael Lewis works closely with Tony Pentz, collaborating to recruit, lead, and nurture the firm’s staff while also taking responsibility for determining and directing its overall growth strategy.

Education: Michael Lewis is a graduate of University of Vermont, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has served on the Board of its Business School.

Professional Associations /Certifications: Michael is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey. He is a member of the New Jersey CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Personal Interests: While most of Michael’s efforts have been dedicated to building a thriving CPA practice serving the New Jersey’s business owners and individuals, Michael has carved out time for some very interesting hobbies, as shown by his enthusiasm for cars and as an art collector.
