Career snapshot/ specialty areas:  Katie is well-known within the firm and within the community for her ability to support key practices, including real estate clients and family-owned businesses, fund of funds, attorneys and law firms, and individuals. She brings a range of accounting and tax services to support clients in these areas with the advice and guidance they need to remain profitable in today’s competitive market. In order to help her clients achieve their objectives, she remains exceptionally organized in the workplace and concentrates on always doing the best job possible for them. 

Leadership role at MTL: In addition to her passion for delivering hands-on support for her clients, Katie has also established herself as a leader within the firm, providing insights and marketing support. For example, she sat on the firm’s newsletter committee, regularly contributing articles to the firm’s quarterly business newsletter, Our Perspectives while also creating the firm’s Facebook account. Recognizing the importance of maintaining the firm’s brand and name recognition, Katie currently manages all of the firm’s social media accounts. This externally focused role gives her a chance to interact in the community along with her role as a service provider within the firm’s key niche practice areas. 

Education: Katie graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and also earned a Masters in Taxation degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Professional associations/certifications: Katie is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in New Jersey.  

Professional affiliations: Katie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
