Career snapshot/ specialty areas: A long-time partner with Meisel, Tuteur & Lewis, Franco joined the firm in 1990. Over the decades he has established himself as an expert based on his experience working closely with corporations, partnerships, trusts and high net worth individuals on accounting and taxation from start-ups and mergers/acquisitions through all phases of a company’s growth to succession planning. As he interacts with clients across a wide variety of industries, such as investment partnerships, fund of funds, real estate, and closely held businesses, Franco guides as they address their greatest concerns. To help them achieve their objectives, Franco provides the sophisticated income and estate tax planning advice that is most critical for them.
 
Leadership role at MTL: While he manages a variety of clients across a range of industries, internally, Franco oversees the firm’s risk management, employee benefits and tax compliance practice groups. He also contributed significantly to the firm’s self-published quarterly newsletter, “Our Perspectives.”  

Education: Franco obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Taxation from Seton Hall University.

Professional associations/certifications: Franco is a Certified Public Accountant practicing in New Jersey and New York.

Professional affiliations: Franco is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
